Cleveland Cavaliers Basketball Game
The Cleveland Cavaliers is a professional basketball team out of Cleveland, Ohio. Since its founding in 1970, the Cavaliers have enjoyed a long and storied career in the NBA, including a championship title in 2016 and several appearances in the NBA finals. As of 2019, the Cavaliers are a member of the Central Division in the Eastern Conference and are owned by Dan Gilbert.
Achievements
- 2016 Championship Title: After sweeping the Atlanta Hawks in the Eastern Conference Semifinals, the Cavaliers went on to defeat the Toronto Raptors in the Eastern Conference Finals. In the championship series, they faced off against the Golden State Warriors. After coming back from a 3-1 deficit, the Cavs took the NBA Finals in an iconic Game 7 victory. This marked the first championship title for the city of Cleveland in over 50 years.
- 4 Consecutive NBA Finals Appearances (2015-2018): The Cavaliers made history in the 2015-2016 season with their record shattering run in the NBA Finals. After making it back to the Finals the following season, they went on to become the first team since the Celtics of the 1960s to make four consecutive NBA Finals appearances.
- 46 Consecutive Wins at Home (2015-2016): During their championship season, the Cavaliers recorded the second longest home winning streak in NBA history. Starting on February 4th, 2015, the Cavaliers went on to win 46 consecutive games at Quicken Loans Arena.
