Snakes: An Overview

  • Long and flexible bodies which allow them to squeeze into small spaces
  • An elongated triangular head and a pointed tail

Snakes are carnivores and eat a variety of prey such as small rodents, insects, and other small animals. Some snakes will also supplement their diet with fruits or other plant matter.
